PopSugar Must Have Box February 2015- Review

I'm a girly girl, through and through... so it's no wonder that I get especially excited each year as Valentine's Day rolls around.  Roses, chocolate, and all things pink... yes, I proudly love it all.

And while I'm pretty easy to please, this month's PopSugar Must Have Box seems like it was picked especially for me.  This is my fourth box from them, but I've been watching YouTube unboxings and reading reviews for over a year now.  And I can confidently say that is by far my favorite box.  So I decided to try out the products and give you a review.

PopSugar always encloses a beautiful card that goes over the products.  I enjoy reading about what's inside the box, plus it gives the company's website and value of the product.  This month's total came to  $139.50... which is fantastic considering the box is only $39.95 per month including shipping (and mine was even less, thanks to a Black Friday special last year).

ACME Party Box Company Bamboo Heart Cutting Board and Cheese Knife (Sugg. Retail $32)- As a foodie, I'm always excited to get kitchen accessories for food photography as well as entertaining.  And this bamboo heart cutting board is so cute.  It came in the burlap bag, and is a perfect size to display one of my other favorite things in life... cheese.  I also love the cheese knife, as I've never owned one.  And the red not only matches perfectly with the theme of the box, but also with my kitchen.  Such a creative and useful set that I'll be looking forward to using in the future.

U.S. Apothecary Rose Water Bubble Bath (Sugg. Retail $30)- This bubble bath not only comes in gorgeous packaging, but it also smells amazing.  When I opened it up to smell it, I was immediately transported back in time, where every morning I'd put on my L'Occitane Roses et Reines Perfume (I love the solid) before we hit the streets of Paris.  This smells very similar, and was a perfect ingredient for a well-needed and relaxing bubble bath.  This is something I'd definitely buy again for when I need some special occasion pampering.  How wonderful to smell like roses all night long.

BaubleBar Mini Arrow Pendant Necklace (Sugg. Retail $32)- Dainty jewelry is in, and this arrow necklace couldn't be more perfect for Valentine's Day.  And, as a constant reminder of the love of my life, all year long.  I was especially happy to see that this was in silver, and I love the gentle sparkle from the rhinestones.  I'm sure I'll get a lot of use out of this... super cute, and chic at the same time.

Chuao Chocolatier Ravishing Rockey Road Bar (Sugg. Retail  $6)- I'm always excited to open a box and see chocolate inside.  The pink packaging is perfection, and the chocolate inside lives up to the photo.  Full of almond chunks (with a nice salt to them) and actual pieces of marshmallows, which make for an ooey, gooey and delicious experience with every single bite.  A special chocolate bar, with a reasonable price.  And their website is worth checking out too... lots of creative flavors available.

Tarte Cosmetics Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush in True Love (Sugg. Retail $26)- This Tarte Blush made me smile ear to ear when I opened it, as I've been dying to buy one, thanks to all the buzz on YouTube.  I was especially excited to get this color, as I've been mainly wearing peach blush, and this pink will be perfect for Spring.  This blush wears beautifully and complements my complexion perfectly.  I can already tell, this will be the one I reach for most often in my collection.  And while it's hard to decide (they're all so good!), this blush is right up there with my favorite products in the box.

Figs & Rouge 100% Natural Lip Balm in Pomegranate (Sugg. Retail $8)- Another great addition was this lip balm, and I got Pomegranate.  It has a nice mild smell that's a bit fruity, yet still sophisticated.  I love that the smell doesn't linger on your lips, and the formula is very moisturizing and pleasant to wear.  I'm not the biggest fan of balm in a tin, as you have to use your finger to apply it, and it's not as sanitary as ones in a tube (especially when you're on the go).  But, this will be a nice treat to use every night before I go to bed.  Very cute packaging design as well.

Sally Beauty FingerPaints Nail Color in Brushstroke Blush (Sugg. Retail $5.50)- I'll admit I was a bit ho-hum when I heard we were getting another nail polish in this box, especially because in the spoiler that I saw, it was red.  No more red! I got a red in a previous box, plus a red for signing up for In Style Magazine recently, and let's face it, it's time to lighten up.

So, I was incredibly excited to find that I got a pink one.  And it's not just any pink, but the PERFECT pink.  I've been on the hunt for a great pink for some time and I finally found my holy grail pink in this.  It's a beautiful cool toned pink that is so dainty... it's like a ballet pink.  It went on smooth and added a nice bit of color and shine without looking too young, or cotton candy-like.

All in all, this was an amazing box! After adding up all the suggested retail prices, It's even more clear the value of it all.  I, for one, will be using, and loving every single product in this box.  What was your favorite?

*This post was not sponsored and I paid for this box with my own money.  All opinions are my own.
